Please refer to Bylaws of the Dakota 50/50 Horse Sale and Futurity

• Only horses which are registered with a breed association shall be nominated in the Dakota 50/50 Sale.
• Weanling foals consigned must be registered in members name, or that of immediate family member, and original papers must be present for foal to sell.
• In the event of an NSF check the 50/50 will stand good for the foal and the foal will be returned to the seller.  The seller will then remit to the 50/50 either half of the sale’s average cost per head or half of the original bid on the foal (whichever is less).  This amount will be paid to the pot and the foal will remain eligible to compete in the futurity.
• Foals may be substituted up until the sale day as long as there is information provided to the 50/50 for an original foal by the nomination deadline.
• The Dakota 50/50 Futurity and Sale Members are not responsible for accidents.

1. Consignment/Catalogue Fee:  $75 per horse (limited to 2 weanlings) payable to Dakota 50/50. 

Deadline:  Consignments and fees must be received by 8/1/2008, or be subject to a $200 late fee.

2. Original Registration papers, signed transfer form, and negative Coggins test are required on sale day.

Note:  This is to assure that the horse meets Canadian Import and American Interstate Transportation requirements as well as to cross state lines.  All horses admitted to a state owned property must also have a negative Coggins test.  The North Dakota Horse Park is a state owned entity.

·         Please make sure that the Coggins report is individual for each horse.  Multiple reports will not be accepted.

3. Health Certificate required for all horses coming from outside of N.D.

4.  All positions will be drawn by a committee and horses will sell in catalog order, unless otherwise voted upon by general membership.

ENTRY DEADLINE:  FRIDAY, AUGUST 1^ST, 2008 A $200 late fee will be assessed for all late consignments.

As a consigner, I am a paid member in good standing of the Dakota 50/50 Futurity and Sale.  I recognize that the organization and Dakota Horse Park are only acting to provide a time and place for the sale of my horses.  By consigning my foal to this sale I recognize that such horse will be eligible to compete in the futurity as a two year old.  I recognize that any disputes are between me, as the seller, and the purchaser as determined by the auctioneer.  Neither the Dakota Horse Park nor the Dakota 50/50 membership has any obligation, duty, or liability to me with respect to performance or nonperformance by any purchaser.  I, as consignor of a horse or horses, agree to be bound by and abide by all of the forgoing terms and conditions.
